Every leader needs a corner

Confidential coaching and retreats for CEOs, founders and senior teams.

A tall executive chair under a single overhead light, with a corner water bottle and a folded towel on its seat.

Executives set the rhythm everyone else follows. When the CEO answers email at midnight and never takes a full week off, the company learns that recovery is optional. Executive wellness starts with the leader’s own rounds and recovery, then the pace they set for others.

Where executive strain hides

Senior leaders rarely have anyone to tell when the pace is too much. The World Health Organization describes burnout as chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed, marked by exhaustion, cynicism and reduced effectiveness. At the top, it often looks like rushed decisions, no thinking time and a team that stops bringing bad news.

What leaders take back to work

  • A sustainable week

A calendar with protected thinking time, real evenings and recovery planned around the hardest weeks.

  • Room to think again

Fewer back-to-back days, so big decisions get a morning instead of the last ten minutes.

  • A team that follows

When the leader keeps a healthy guard, direct reports stop copying the midnight email.

  • A confidential sounding board

Someone outside the reporting line, the board and the family who will say what they see.

What executive support includes

  • A confidential intake

A 90-minute conversation about workload, energy, sleep and pressure points, kept between you and your coach.

  • Calendar and energy review

Two weeks of your real calendar, read for back-to-back days, missing recovery and work to hand off.

  • One-to-one coaching

Sessions with an ICF-credentialed executive coach, in person in Louisville or by video anywhere.

  • A recovery plan

Optional guidance from a certified movement and recovery coach, built around travel and long days.

  • Team agreements

Practical agreements with direct reports on response times, meetings and after-hours contact.

  • Referral when it matters

If something needs a clinician, we help you find one. We do not diagnose or treat.

Example: a family-owned manufacturer’s new CEO

A second-generation CEO takes over a 260-person family-owned manufacturer and is working six-day weeks through the handover. A six-month CEO Performance Partnership opens with a two-week calendar review that finds no day without a plant visit, a family meeting or a customer call. Coaching protects one morning a week, hands two standing meetings to the operations director, and books an Executive Reset Retreat for the senior team before budget season.

Executive wellness questions, answered

What is an executive wellness program?

It is structured support for the energy, focus and sustainable performance of senior leaders. Ours combines one-to-one coaching, a review of how the leader actually spends the week and optional retreats, with a second focus on the pace that leader sets for the team. It is coaching, not medical care or therapy.

How much does executive wellness coaching cost?

The CEO Performance Partnership starts at $3,200 per month with a six-month minimum, the only minimum term we ask for. The Executive Reset Retreat starts at $4,800 per executive, with venue and lodging billed at cost. Prices are indicative, and every proposal is fixed-fee and itemized before you sign.

Is executive coaching confidential?

Yes. What you discuss with your coach stays between the two of you. When the company pays, the sponsor sees session dates and, if you agree, a short note of the goals you set. We never report on health, family matters or anything else you share in a session.

Does executive wellness include medical checkups?

No. We do not run medical exams, biometric screening or lab tests, and we do not diagnose or treat. Leaders who want a medical assessment should see their own physician. Our work covers workload, recovery, boundaries and leadership habits, and our coaches refer to licensed clinicians when that is the right step.

Can the whole leadership team take part?

Yes. Many companies start with the CEO and then add the senior team, usually through an Executive Reset Retreat or a set of group sessions on pace and delegation. Each member can also have one-to-one coaching. Team agreements are shared with the group; individual conversations stay private.

Where do coaching sessions happen?

In person at your office or a quiet room in Louisville, or by video wherever you are. Many leaders mix the two, meeting in person once a month and by video otherwise. Retreats run at venues anywhere in the US, with travel outside Greater Louisville billed at cost.
