Support for every stage of life

Four private sessions for parents, caregivers, menopause and pre-retirement.

Length
Four sessions, about a month apart
Price, indicative
From $4,800

At any moment, part of your workforce is caring for a newborn, a parent or both, going through menopause, or planning the years after work. Most never mention it. These sessions offer practical help in private, and show managers how to respond when someone does.

Four sessions, one stage each

  1. Session 1

    New and expecting parents

Planning leave and the return, coping with broken sleep and agreeing a workable schedule.

  2. Session 2

    Caring for someone

Juggling appointments, using leave and benefits well, and finding local help for an aging relative.

  3. Session 3

    Menopause at work

Common workplace challenges, practical adjustments and how to ask for them, with no medical advice given.

  4. Session 4

    The years before retirement

Phasing down, passing on knowledge and planning purpose and routine, alongside the benefits you offer.

  5. Alongside the series

    Manager guidance

A 45-minute manager session and a short guide on responding well and making reasonable adjustments.

What you receive

Who it is for
All employees, with a separate session for managers
Format
Mainly live online, cameras and names optional, recorded
  • Four 60-minute live online sessions, recorded
  • Attendance with cameras and names optional
  • A resource sheet for each stage, mapped to your benefits
  • A 45-minute manager session and a written manager guide
  • A summary of anonymous themes for HR, from groups of ten or more

Is this the right program?

Right for you if

  • You are reviewing leave, flexibility or caregiver policies
  • Experienced people are leaving early, or not returning after leave
  • Managers feel awkward when someone mentions menopause or a sick parent

Look elsewhere if

  • You want medical guidance on menopause or pregnancy; that belongs with a clinician
  • You need case management for individual caregivers; your EAP or benefits provider handles that

Example: a credit union with 11 branches

A 160-person credit union sees experienced tellers leave after parental leave or in the years before retirement. Sessions run online at noon so branch staff can join from a break room or from home, cameras off. The menopause session prompts a review of uniform fabrics and break cover. Branch managers attend a 45-minute session on handling flexible scheduling requests.

Life-Stage Wellbeing questions, answered

Why are the sessions delivered online?

For privacy. Many people would never walk into a conference room booked for menopause or caregiving in front of colleagues. Online, they can join with camera and name off, from home or a quiet room, or watch the recording later. We run an in-person version when a group asks for one.

Do your coaches give medical advice?

No. Sessions are led by National Board Certified health and wellness coaches who cover practical workplace strategies, not diagnosis or treatment. For symptoms, medication or pregnancy questions, participants are pointed to their own doctor, and to your EAP for emotional support. Every coach is trained to make that referral.

Will the company know who attended?

No. We report total attendance per session and themes from anonymous questions, and only for groups of ten or more. Names, questions and video are never shared with you. Employees can also join without registering, through a link posted on your intranet.

What does the manager guidance include?

A 45-minute live session and a short written guide on responding when someone mentions a life-stage need: listen, avoid assumptions, ask what would help and know your policies. Managers practice wording for flexible schedules, leave planning and reasonable adjustments, and learn when to involve HR or the EAP.

Can we choose different life stages?

Yes. The four default topics are new parents, caregivers, menopause and pre-retirement, and any of them can be swapped. Other common choices include fertility and pregnancy loss, parenting a child with additional needs, or returning from long-term leave. We agree the topics with HR before the series starts.
