Boxing CEO LLC wants everyone to be able to use boxingceo.com, including people who use screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, a keyboard or switch devices, and people with low vision, color blindness, hearing loss, or cognitive, learning or vestibular disabilities.
This statement covers the website. The last sections also explain how we make our in-person and online programs accessible, and how to ask for anything in a different format.
Our target: WCAG 2.2 AA
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content usable by more people with disabilities.
We treat Level AA as the minimum for every page and template we publish, and we fix issues we find in existing pages as a priority. This statement is based on our own testing; we will update it when an independent review has been completed.
What we do to get there
Structure. Every page has one main heading, headings in order, and standard landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer, so screen reader users can move around quickly. A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
Keyboard. Every link, menu, form and tool works with a keyboard alone. Focus is always visible and is never hidden behind sticky headers or other content.
Color and text. Text and interface elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratios: at least 4.5 to 1 for body text, and 3 to 1 for large text, icons and form borders. Color is never the only way information is shown. Text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout reflows to a single column at 320 pixels wide without loss of content.
Images. Every illustration has a text alternative describing the idea it shows. Purely decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
Motion. Nothing flashes, and nothing plays automatically. Animations are kept small and switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
Forms. Every field has a visible label, errors are described in text and linked to the field, and we never ask you to solve a puzzle to prove you are human. Spam is blocked with a hidden field and a timing check instead.
Targets and help. Buttons and links are at least 24 by 24 pixels or spaced so they are easy to hit. Our phone number and email address appear in the same place on every page.
Plain language. We write in short sentences, explain terms in our glossary, and mark each page’s language as English.
Testing. We check templates with automated tools, keyboard-only use, browser zoom, mobile screen sizes and screen readers before they go live, and again when they change.
Known limitations
We know of these limitations and are working on them:
- Illustrations. Our illustrations are conceptual artworks. Their text alternatives describe the main idea, but they cannot capture every visual detail.
- Interactive tools. The wellness ROI calculator and the team burnout risk check update their results as you type. They are built to announce changes to screen readers, but if they do not work well with your setup, we will send you a plain version, such as a spreadsheet or a document, that does the same math or lists the same statements.
- Documents we send. Proposals, reports and program materials we send to clients may not always be fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide an accessible version of any document on request.
- Other websites. Research sources and other sites we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
If you find a problem that is not listed here, please tell us.
Accessibility in our programs
Every session we run is adapted for all abilities, and nobody is ever required to exercise. When we choose venues for events and retreats, we check for step-free access, accessible restrooms, seating options and quiet space.
Live online sessions have captions, and recordings come with captions or a transcript. We can arrange American Sign Language interpreters, live captioning, large-print materials or other adjustments on request. Please tell us what you need when you book, ideally at least ten business days before the session, so we can have it in place.
Ask for an alternative format
If you need any content on this site in a different format, we will provide it at no charge. That might be large print, a plain-text or Word document, an audio reading, an easy-read summary, or a phone call where we walk you through the page.
To ask, email hi@boxingceo.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line, or call (502) 207-2376, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern. Tell us which page or content you need and the format that works best for you.
We will respond within five business days, and sooner where we can.
Report a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, please let us know at hi@boxingceo.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. It helps to include:
- the page address
- what you were trying to do
- what happened instead
- the browser, device and any assistive technology you use
We will acknowledge your message within one business day and respond within five business days with a fix, an alternative way to get what you need, or a plan and a date. If our response does not resolve the issue, ask for it to be escalated, and a member of our leadership will review it.
Updates to this statement
We review this statement at least once a year, and whenever we add or change a page template. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
