An honest baseline before any program

Four weeks to see how work really feels, in plain language.

4 weeks

Most companies buy a program before they know what is wearing people down. The Weigh-in measures the conditions of work first, so your budget goes to workload, managers or recovery, wherever the evidence points.

How the four weeks run

  1. Week 1

    Kickoff and scope

A 60-minute call with your sponsor to agree the questions, the groups and what leadership will do with the answers.

  2. Weeks 1 and 2

    Anonymous survey

A ten-minute survey on phones, laptops or a break-room tablet, open for ten working days.

  3. Week 2

    Listening sessions

Four 60-minute small-group conversations by team or shift, led by a wellbeing strategist with no managers present.

  4. Week 3

    HR data read

We read the turnover, absence, overtime and leave patterns you already hold, anonymous and in aggregate.

  5. Week 4

    Report and debrief

A written report with three to five priorities, a 90-minute leadership debrief and a one-page staff summary.

What you receive

Who it is for
One organization or site, up to 250 employees
Format
Online survey, listening sessions on site or by video
  • A ten-minute anonymous survey, set up and run for you
  • Four listening sessions with no managers in the room
  • A read of the HR data you already hold
  • A written report with three to five priorities
  • A 90-minute leadership debrief and a one-page summary for staff

Is this the right program?

Right for you if

  • You are about to spend a wellness budget and want it aimed well
  • Turnover, absence or overtime is rising and nobody agrees why
  • Leadership wants a baseline to measure any future program against

Look elsewhere if

  • You need an investigation into a specific complaint; that is a job for HR or counsel
  • You want individual health screening; we only report on groups of ten or more

Example: a hotel group with three properties

A 240-person hotel group in Louisville runs the Weigh-in in January. Housekeeping and front desk staff take the survey on a break-room tablet in English or Spanish. Listening sessions find split shifts leave little recovery time and that recognition rarely reaches the night audit team. The report sets three priorities: predictable rotas, reliable break cover and a recognition habit for overnight crews.

Weigh-In Wellbeing Diagnostic questions, answered

Who sees the survey answers?

Only our team sees raw responses, and nobody at your company ever sees an individual answer. We report in aggregate and only for groups of ten or more, so a small team is combined with a neighboring one. Written comments are paraphrased so no one can be identified by their wording.

How long does the survey take employees?

About ten minutes. It has around 30 questions on workload, control, recovery, manager support, connection and intent to stay, plus two open comment boxes. It works on a phone, a laptop or a shared tablet, and we can translate it into Spanish or other languages your workforce uses.

What HR data do you need?

Anonymous, aggregated figures you already hold: headcount, turnover and exits by team, absence days, overtime hours and EAP usage totals if your provider shares them. We never ask for named records or health information, and we can sign your data processing agreement before anything is shared.

What if we have more than 250 employees?

We scale the diagnostic by site or department. Larger organizations add listening sessions and a longer analysis week, and the added cost is itemized in the proposal. The report still arrives as one document, with priorities for the whole organization and short notes for each site.

What happens after the report?

Leadership decides. Many organizations move straight into a game plan and a program such as Fight Camp or the Burnout Prevention System, and the Weigh-in becomes the baseline for its scorecard. Others act on the priorities themselves. Either way, the report and the survey data summary are yours to keep.
