Recognition that happens every month

Specific, timely thanks built into the rhythm of every team.

A plaque once a year rarely changes how anyone feels on a Tuesday. Recognition Rounds builds a monthly rhythm in which managers and peers name specific work soon after it happens, in the places your teams already meet.

How each month runs

  1. Month 1

    Weigh-in and design

A five-question pulse and two listening sessions show who gets noticed and who never does.

  2. Month 2, week 1

    Manager kickoff

A 60-minute session on recognition that names the work, the effort and the effect.

  3. Every month, week 1

    Theme and prompts

Managers receive a monthly theme and three prompts, such as thanking work that prevented a problem.

  4. Every month, week 2

    Manager huddle

A 30-minute online huddle where managers swap what worked and plan the month ahead.

  5. Every month, week 3

    Team ritual

A short ritual inside an existing meeting or shift huddle where peers name one contribution.

  6. Every quarter

    Scorecard review

Pulse results, participation by team and themes for the next quarter, reviewed with leadership.

What you receive

Who it is for
Whole company or one site, with every team leader
Format
Manager prompts, team rituals and quarterly reviews
  • A recognition weigh-in showing who gets noticed and who is missed
  • Monthly themes and prompts for every manager
  • Team rituals designed for desks, shifts and remote teams
  • A monthly 30-minute manager huddle
  • A quarterly scorecard review with leadership

Is this the right program?

Right for you if

  • Your recognition is an annual award or a points platform few people use
  • Pulse scores show people feel unseen, especially on nights or working remotely
  • Managers want to recognize people but are unsure what to say

Look elsewhere if

  • You need to fix pay or promotion fairness; recognition cannot replace that
  • You want a rewards catalog or gift-card platform; we design habits, not points

Example: a two-shift call center

A 210-person customer service center works two shifts under strict call-time targets. The weigh-in finds praise only follows survey scores, so agents who calm difficult callers go unnoticed. Team leads get monthly themes such as “the save nobody saw,” and each shift opens with a three-minute peer shout-out at huddle. The quarterly review compares pulse scores by shift.

Recognition Rounds questions, answered

How is this different from a recognition platform?

A platform gives people a place to post thanks; Recognition Rounds builds the habit of doing it well. We design themes, prompts and rituals for the tools you already have, whether that is a team chat, a whiteboard by the time clock or a platform you want people to actually use.

Do we need to buy rewards or gift cards?

No. In our experience, specific and timely words from a manager or peer carry more weight than a prize. Some organizations add small rewards, and we help them do it fairly and consistently. The monthly fee covers design, prompts, huddles and reviews, not merchandise.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Recognition Rounds runs month to month and is planned one quarter at a time, so themes and huddles can be scheduled ahead. Most organizations give it at least two quarters, because a habit takes a few cycles to settle, but the decision stays with you.

How do remote and shift workers take part?

Every ritual has a version for each way of working. Remote teams use a chat thread or the first minutes of a video call, shift teams use the start-of-shift huddle, and night crews get their own prompts. Participation is reported by team, so gaps show up quickly.

How do you keep recognition from feeling forced?

By keeping it specific and optional. Prompts ask for a concrete moment, not a generic thank-you, and nobody is required to post or speak. Themes change monthly so the habit does not go stale, and managers learn to notice quiet work, not only the loudest wins.
