We describe our coaches by role and standard rather than by name, because the standard is what you are buying. A wellbeing strategist leads each engagement and brings in the specialists your game plan calls for, matched to your sites, shifts and sector.
Who is in your corner
Six roles, each with a credential we verify before anyone meets your team.
Wellbeing strategists
Lead diagnostics and design. Organizational psychology, HR or occupational health, with eight years or more in workplace roles.
Health and wellness coaches
National Board Certified (NBC-HWC). They run sessions and small groups on sleep, stress, energy and habits.
Leadership and executive coaches
Hold an ICF credential (ACC, PCC or MCC). They facilitate manager workshops and coach executives one to one.
Movement and recovery coaches
Hold an NCCA-accredited fitness certification and adapt every session for all abilities. No one is required to exercise.
Financial wellbeing educators
Accredited Financial Counselors (AFC) who teach budgeting, debt and benefits choices, and never sell financial products.
Event and retreat producers
Handle venues, logistics, accessibility and run-of-show, so facilitators can give the room their full attention.
How we vet coaches
Six checks before a coach meets your team, repeated as credentials renew.
Credential check
We verify each certification with the issuing body and track its renewal date.
Background check
Completed for every coach before any client work, on site or online.
Insurance
Proof of liability insurance on file before a coach is scheduled.
Observed session
A strategist watches a live session and reviews clarity, inclusion and timing with the coach.
Corner Method training
How we diagnose, plan, deliver and measure, including our rules for handling data.
EAP referral training
How to notice when someone needs more than coaching, and hand over to the EAP well.
When we refer out
Our coaches do not diagnose, treat or provide therapy. When a conversation turns to mental health, addiction, crisis or a medical question, the coach stops, points the person to your EAP or a licensed clinician, and makes sure they can reach it that day.
Every coach learns this in Corner Method training before a first session.
